David Warner’s six-year-old daughter showed no respect for the PM’s bowling, smashing him for four runs in a backyard game on New Year’s Day at Kirribilli House.
Anthony Albanese played host at his official residence in Sydney inviting Australia’s opening Test batsman, 36, his wife of seven years, Candice, 36, and their daughters – Ivy, seven , Indi, six, and Isla, three.
Coming into the bowl from the southern end of the manicured lawn, Mr Albanese sent young Indi – who slogged the Labor leader into the sideline prompting his father to shout: ‘Come on, get it. easy on him’.

The family first chatted to the PM inside the iconic venue, with Mr Albanese’s partner Jodie Haydon bending down to talk to the girls.
Then they went out into the grass to embrace the sun.
Candice also took part in the game, looking stunning in a burnt orange maxi dress.
After belting the lad over the fence, Mr Albanese got the last laugh gifting David – an avid Rooster NRL fan – a Rabbitohs cap.
He sadly accepted the gift but refused to try it on, which made the PM laugh.

It comes after David shared a touching tribute to his wife after putting on an unforgettable display at the MCG in the annual Boxing Day cricket match where she scored 200.
He posted a series of photos with Candice on his Instagram and expressed his love for her.
‘No words can describe my love for you!! Thank you so much for everything you do for the girls and me,’ she began.
