Paul Pogba has declared he will ‘not give up’ on Juventus after suffering another injury which will leave him on the sidelines for the rest of the current campaign.
The Frenchman’s season was brought to an early end in Juventus’ recent 2-0 Serie A victory over Cremonese as he limped off with a low thigh injury just 21 minutes into the match.
The midfielder is making his first start in 13 months at the Allianz Stadium, however, will now have to wait until the start of pre-season for his next appearance.
Pogba appeared emotional after his latest setback, but delivered a defiant message on Instagram in which he explained his feelings on what has now been a nightmare return to Italy.
The 30-year-old World Cup winner gave a rare update to his 58.2 million followers on the social media platform, saying: ‘Hello everyone, I think it’s the right time to express myself after a long period of silence.

The Frenchman gave his supporters an update in an Instagram video on his page
‘First of all, let me recap my season, which has been very complicated, with problems on and off the field. As you know, it was really difficult for me and what happened was difficult, mainly mentally.
‘I tried to take solace in what I love: playing football, and working on the pitch, but that wasn’t possible because I had a lot of bad luck physically. Now all I can do is be patient, but now, I feel better,’ she added.
‘First of all, thank God, we should try to be positive and have faith. Thanks also to you fans, thanks to the stadium crowd, to the club, who always support and accompany me.
‘It’s thanks to you that I can keep my morale up, you push me to come back as soon as possible, to the best of my ability.’
‘I learned a lot from this year, and I think everything that happened will help me come back stronger. Thank you all for your support,’ said Pogba.
‘Mentally, and physically, I will do everything to get back to top form, to help my team and my club, and win a trophy, because that’s what I came here for.

‘So, I just wanted to tell you that I will not give up, I will not lose. I will give everything. Thanks again to everyone,’ he concluded.
Pogba’s latest injury is expected to require a 20-day rehabilitation period and the club are unlikely to try to cut it short with just three matches left in the Serie A season.
The attacking midfielder was expected to bring star quality to Massimiliano Allegri’s underperforming side, but instead has been a costly absentee for most of the season.
The former Manchester United midfielder currently costs Juventus £53,000-a-minute having made just 10 appearances all season.
