Manchester City captain Ilkay Gundogan has set his sights on securing the treble after the club lifted their third consecutive Premier League title on Sunday.
The Gunners need a win to delay City’s title celebrations ahead of their home match against Chelsea on Sunday.
However, Taiwo Awoniyi’s first-half goal was enough to give Forest the victory in front of a raucous home crowd, regaining their own top-flight status.
Guardiola’s side will lift the Premier League trophy on Sunday for a third campaign in a row, and for the fifth time in six seasons, sealed with three matches remaining.
City overhauled Arsenal’s eight-point lead as Mikel Arteta’s men slumped, winning 11 Premier League games in a row including a 4-1 victory over their rivals at the end of April .

Unbeaten in their last 23 games in all competitions, City have also reached the finals of both the FA Cup and Champions League as they remain on course for the treble.
“To help the club win a third Premier League title in a row is something very special,” Gundogan told Manchester City’s website.
‘The Premier League is undoubtedly the most demanding and competitive league in the world so that tells you everything about what an achievement this is.
‘This squad is very talented and very special and to be captain this season is a huge privilege.’
German midfielder Gundogan added: ‘I also want to thank Pep, all the backroom staff and everyone who works at this football club.
‘Every day they help give us as players everything we need to try to be successful. There is no way we could have won this title without all their support.

But the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder insists he remains focused on securing a historic treble
‘To win this trophy three times in a row and five times in six years is incredible. That quality and consistency help sum up what Manchester City stand for and ensure the club will continue to strive for success in the future.
‘It was a season I will never forget. Our amazing fans are with us every step of the way.
‘Without their amazing support, I don’t think there’s any way we could have achieved what we’ve done over the last six seasons.
‘Their passion and support is invaluable and inspiring for all of us. Hopefully winning the Premier League title again is a fitting way for us to say thank you to our fans.’
‘Two more finals to go, we’re looking forward to it. My arms are ready to lift two more titles.’
Erling Haaland’s goals helped lead City to the title, as the Norway forward set a new Premier League record with 36 so far.

He wrote on Twitter: ‘Always give your best. Always believe. It pays off. C’MON CITY!’
City defender Aymeric Laporte posted: ‘What a season tho. Credit to absolutely everyone involved from top to bottom.
‘All things fought for it. More to come soon but we can be proud of this one.’
Arsenal have been insatiable for most of the campaign, spending 248 days on top of the table before their latest collapse gave City the chance to ruthlessly hunt them down.
City defender Kyle Walker said: ‘Arsenal pushed us to the limit they were fantastic, so all credit to them.
‘We just went on an incredible run, they had a few hiccups and we capitalized on it and got to where we are now.

The players we have. We are a group of young people who have achieved a lot over the past number of years and we understand the standards we set ourselves.
‘We have achieved a lot in the last five or six years, but we knew the bar was not high enough at the start of the season.
‘When we come back after the World Cup, we have to kick and play fair with the youngsters.
‘We want to prove anyone who doubts us wrong – it’s not enough.
‘With the lads in the dressing room, we always believe we can do something.
‘Premier League standards have gone up, but this is what this club has been built on, it’s certainly been that way for the six years I’ve been here, so fair play to everyone involved.
‘You have to be ready at the business end of the season because that’s what this club is about and what we’re built for.’
