A dark cloud looms over Dublin after Katie Taylor suffered the first defeat of her professional career against Chantelle Cameron on Saturday night. The British boxer did say he would destroy Taylor’s homecoming but few believed him.

Taylor’s highly anticipated match against Cameron went the distance with the judges scoring it 95-95, 96-94, 96-94 in favor of the visitor. A decision that shocked everyone in the Dublin 3Arena.

Perhaps what came before Taylor’s match was an indication for how the night would go. Jose Felix beat Ireland’s Gary Cully after the 27-year-old’s coaches were forced to throw in the towel.
