Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire ‘top Man United’s three-man for-sale list’ ahead of summer clearout at Old Trafford… with Alex Telles ‘also set to be available for purchase’
- The Red Devils have managed to sell three of their first team players
- Defensive duo Harry Maguire and Alex Telles were among those allowed to leave
- Anthony Martial could be sold as they search for a long-term striker
Manchester United have listed three of their first-team players as available for sale ahead of a major summer clearout at Old Trafford, according to reports.
The Red Devils were only able to make loan signings in January as Wout Weghorst and Marcel Sabitzer joined the club on temporary deals.
According to the Manchester Evening News, United have said that Anthony Martial, Harry Maguire and Alex Telles will be allowed to leave in the next window.
Erik ten Hag’s side are looking to make wholesale changes in the upcoming summer window, and the trio are among those who could leave.
United are looking for a long-term striker option and it is understood this has led to a decision on Martial’s future at Old Trafford.

French forward Anthony Martial is one of the players reported to be for sale by the club

Defensive duo Harry Maguire and Alex Telles will also be allowed to leave United this summer
The French winger has endured an inconsistent spell in Manchester after joining the club for an initial £36million in 2015 and has made just nine Premier League appearances this season.
The former Monaco forward has suffered from a number of injuries at United and continued that trend after withdrawing himself from their squad to face Crystal Palace last week.
Martial had found the back of the net a few days earlier, during United’s 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the semi-final of the Carabao Cup at Old Trafford.
Defensive duo Maguire and Telles will be allowed to leave the club after falling out of favor with ten Hags this season, according to the MEN.
Club captain Maguire has made just nine Premier League appearances this term and has fallen behind Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane in the pecking order.
It wasn’t long ago that ten Hags opted to play traditional full-back Luke Shaw in Maguire’s central position, even though the latter was available for selection.
Inter Milan have made inquiries about the England centre-back, 29, in the January window but the player wants to wait until the summer to decide on his immediate future.
Brazilian full-back Telles only joined the club in 2020 but looks set to leave Old Trafford permanently.
The former Porto defender – who signed a deal worth £15.4 million – made 50 appearances for United in the last two seasons before being loaned out to Sevilla.

In the January window, United’s only recruit for the month seems to be the loan signing of striker Wout Weghorst from Burnley.
The Holland international was brought in at the start of the window and is a clear target that United have previously identified. The same cannot be said for Sabitzer.
The Austrain playmaker has secured a short-term loan at United following news that Danish star Christian Eriksen will be out for three months with an ankle issue.
United moved quickly to secure the temporary signing of Sabitzer from Bayern Munich and he is thought to step in for the suspended Casemiro.
