Boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya filed for divorce from wife Millie Corretjer on Friday, six years after the couple separated.
De La Hoya, 49, listed the grounds for the divorce as irreconcilable differences, according to TMZ.
The couple married in 2001 and share three children together, son Oscar Gabriel, 17, and daughters Lauren Nenitte, 15, and Victoria Lauren Rose, 8.

The couple reportedly met in 2000 when the former champion dipped his toes into the music industry and contacted Corretjer, a Puerto Rican singer and actress, about her appearance in one of his music videos after he noticed the others.
De La Hoya is reportedly asking for joint custody of their three children, but he is willing to give physical custody to Corretjer, 48, if he can have visitation rights.
In the filing, De La Hoya is also open to paying spousal support, as well as his attorney fees.
Ring legend Atiana also has a child, whose stepfather is Travis Barker, with former beauty queen and Playboy model Shanna Moakler.
She also has two children, Jacob and Devon, from previous low-profile relationships, both born in 1998.

De La Hoya also has a daughter Atiana (right) with former beauty queen and Playboy model Shanna Moakler and two sons, Jacob and Devon, from previous relationships.
The couple split for unknown reasons in 2016, with the boxer declaring himself single in a video while partying at a Hollywood nightclub.
It is unclear why De La Hoya waited until this week to file for divorce. However, he is believed to be dating Holly Sonders, a TV host and businesswoman, since August 2021 where the couple has been seen together several times.
In 2011, De La Hoya admitted to cheating on Corretjer and admitted that they had been separated for a while.
‘We’re obviously not talking about a Tiger Woods here, but I’m not honest,’ he said in an interview with Univision, where the former welterweight champion spilled the details of his problems with marriage, drugs and alcohol.

De La Hoya recently slammed Dana White after footage emerged of him slapping his wife in a night club, calling the UFC boss a ‘Boston aerobics instructor’.
White was on holiday in Mexico with his wife Anne to celebrate the new year when an argument broke out between the couple in the VIP area of a club, with the altercation filmed by patrons of the venue.
De La Hoya tweeted: ‘My best friend @DanaWhite is so greedy he decided to steal fighter pay from his new TBS league ‘Power Slap’ by getting fighter of the night against His wife. Those Boston aerobic instructors are really tough guys.’

De La Hoya was referring to the new Power Slap League, created by White, which sees competitors try to knock each other out with open-handed face slaps, and has been widely criticized by fans of MMA.
His jab that White is a ‘Boston aerobics instructor’ comes from the UFC boss’ time as a Boxercise instructor in the American city.
White and De La Hoya’s feud dates back to the 2017 showdown between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, which De La Hoya said was ‘disrespectful to the sport of boxing’.
