Tennis star Taylor Fritz believes the huge Netflix doco the sport’s version of smash hit Drive To Survive will make Nick Kyrgios look like a ‘VILLAIN’.

US tennis star Taylor Fritz fears Nick Kyrgios will be painted as the bad guy in an upcoming Netflix documentary series Break Point.

Fritz, 25, is friends with the polarizing Aussie – and is ‘terrified’ of how he will be featured on the long-awaited show.

‘I don’t know if I want to watch it,’ said Fritz.

‘I was afraid of how things would break. Especially since I have never tried to filter myself.

‘I tried to be very, very genuine. But they can cut things. ‘Like Nick Kyrgios…they could cut it to make Nick look like a great guy.

‘And then they could also cut it to make him look like the villain, which I think they could do just because that’s how a lot of people see tennis – although I think he’s great for the sport.’

Fritz’s girlfriend, model Morgan Riddle, will likely feature heavily in Break Point.

Tennis officials are hoping the warts and all series is a smash hit Drive for a Living is for F1.

There is a modern day consensus that tennis has no characters, especially in the US.

The sport lost millions of viewers after the likes of Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi and Jim Courier retired – and Fritz knows the sport needs more eyeballs going forward, especially those under the age of 45.

‘Some interviews (with other players) are very boring, it’s always the same thing,’ Fritz told The Telegraph, London.

‘I want to be the same person I’ve always been, and if people hate me, then they hate me.
