While the NFL community eagerly hopes for Damar Hamlin’s recovery, so do local students, as Zac Taylor’s wife Sarah is reportedly leading an effort to send get-well cards to the safety of Bills.

According to ESPN, the initiative to write the letter came from Cardinal Pacelli, the Catholic school where the Taylors’ four children attend.

And 40 schools are now said to be involved in the heartwarming effort, with four examples of touching cards posted on Twitter.

One, apparently written by one of the Taylor boys, read, ‘I hope Damar is feeling better because he was one of the best on the team.

‘We will keep him in our prayers. [from] The Taylor family.

Terri Cento, the principal of the Cardinal Pacelli school, commented to ESPN about the community’s response to Hamlin’s horrific ordeal.

‘The city of Cincinnati is really dealing with problems and things that are going on, and this is just one example of how this tragic event happened, but so many positives came out of it,’ Cento said.

The cards are scheduled to be delivered to Hamlin’s family tomorrow at the hospital, according to WKRC-TV in Cincinnati.

Hamlin’s well-wishers were given plenty of positive updates Thursday, as the Bills said the safety is ‘neurologically intact’ and has made ‘remarkable improvement’ over the past 24 hours.
