Charles Barkley says Miami must win Game 6 as they'll 'get their ass whooped like a dog' in Boston

Charles Barkley says Miami must win Game 6 because ‘they’ll lose their ass like a dog’ if they lose and have to go back to Boston for the decision… after the Celtics took the series back to 3-2

Charles Barkley made good on his guarantee and vowed that Miami would face a dire fate if it couldn’t close out the Eastern Conference Finals series at home Saturday night.

The Heat were blown out again, losing, 110-97, as the Celtics clinched the series 3-2 after trailing 0-3.

Now Erik Spoelstra’s team has a third chance to punch their ticket to the NBA Finals, where Denver awaits. According to Barkley, this is their last chance.

“Miami knows Game 6 is Game 7 for them,” he told TNT. ‘Because if they come back here, they look like dogs in Game 7.’

Barkley is so confident about the C’s going into Game 5 at TD Garden, that he promised to see some of his Floridian friends on Saturday. Often known for his false guarantees, the Chuckster has come through this time.

Understandably, Barkley’s theatrics drew laughter from sidekick Shaquille O’Neal during the TNT broadcast.

With momentum so strong in Boston’s favor, what once seemed like an inevitable finish to this series is now in jeopardy.

‘Two days ago, me and Kenny had plans to go to the Bahamas,’ O’Neal said after the game.

‘For me, it will be a battle of wills. Chuck thinks it’s a must win for Miami, I tend to agree with him.’

Barkley added that it ‘doesn’t mean anything’ that Game 6 is back in Miami’s gym.

‘If both teams play their best, the Celtics will win.. If they make shots and play good defense they won’t [just win] Game 6 and Game 7.’

Barkley didn’t go as far as picking Boston for Game 6 because ‘we don’t know which Celtics team is going to come out.’
