Gary Neville released a hilarious broadcast via his Instagram account on Sunday morning as he waited for co-pundit Jamie Carragher – which featured a brief cameo from legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather.
The former Manchester United defender started Instagram live outside his London hotel as he waited for his Sky Sports co-pundit to emerge from the building.
It came down to 13 minutes of mayhem that included an argument with a bus-driver about a three-point-turn, Mayweather’s brief appearance and an interaction with a hungover Newcastle fan.
‘We have breaking news. We’re after Jamie Carragher. We are leaving at 12 o’clock. We have a big game today – cup final if you don’t already know.’
‘And, he will see nothing. I’m starting to worry a little, not that I’m too worried about Carragher. I called his phone four times but he didn’t answer.

‘All of a sudden, he called me. “It’s okay son?”, as he does. I went “where the f****** hell are you?”. He said “I’ve been to the spa”. And I was like, “You’re taking the p*** mate”.
As Neville continues to wait outside the hotel, he starts making contact with a bus-driver on the road – who is attempting to perform a three-point-turn.
The pundit jokingly asks how the task can be accomplished and gets out of the cab. While doing so, he has a strange encounter with the legendary boxer Mayweather.
The American, fresh off his exhibition bout with Aaron Chalmers last night at 02, went straight to Neville and entered the hotel.
Mayweather’s partner, however, approaches Neville and asks who he is. ‘Footballer? I used to,’ replied the former United star.
Neville immediately realized who had walked past him and told the camera: ‘No word of a lie, it’s Floyd Mayweather’.
The camera quickly pans to reveal the American, dressed in a bright orange tracksuit, walking through the hotel.
After several minutes of waiting, Carragher finally emerged from the hotel. The former Liverpool defender appears from the doorway holding several jackets and wheels his suitcase into the cab.
‘Here he is! Oh my god, look at him, really! You look like a Tory politician who just won an election’, Neville told his co-pundit.

‘I thought it was one o’clock! I know it’s a big day for you but get some rest!’, said the Liverpool legend.
‘Seriously, where are you? are you in the hot tub Manicure? pedicure? Get your gels now?’, Neville asked. As he does so, Carragher rushes into the cab – which proceeds to drive off.
‘Any apology for the live audience?’ Neville asked. ‘They keep telling me to apologize to Lisandro Martinez!’, Carragher quickly responded.
The punditry duo reflected on the funny events that unfolded in the short time before the livestream ended.
